Skandia trowel with angled teeth 6 x 6 mm in an extra long version of 250 mm. A trowel is a spatula with saw-shaped or trapezoidal teeth, with which glue or sealant can be applied evenly to a surface, such as walls and floors. The size of the trowel and the amount of glue (kit) usually depend on the material to be glued. For gluing tiles with a notched trowel, the following dimensions generally apply, viz.: Tile size 0-15 cm: a tooth depth of 4-6 mm trowel. Tile size 16-25 cm: a tooth depth of 8 mm.
