Scandal Pour Homme past perfect in de nieuwste gourmand hype. Het is een amber oriëntaals parfum met topnoten van salie en mandarijn, hartnoten van karamel en tonkaboon en vetiver als basisnoot.
De vetiver en salie zorgen voor een kruidige opening, de mandarijn komt boven wanneer het parfum opdroogt. Al snel maakt deze plaats voor een zoete explosie van karamel, die zo aanwezig is dat ze tastbaar wordt.
De openingsakkoorden van Scandal doen denken aan het reeds uit de handel genomen Gaultier², terwijl de dry down doet denken aan Le Beau, maar dan met akkoorden van karamel in plaats van kokosnoot.
Voor een eau de toilette blijft Scandal zeer lang geuren. Na een hele dag in de weer te zijn, is het parfum nog steeds aanwezig op de huid. Scandal is een lichte geur die geschikt is voor day to night wear.
Is Scandal Pour Hommes een goed parfum? Ja, het is zonder twijfel een goed parfum dat een commercieel succes gaat zijn bij twintigers en derdigers. Is het een signature scent? Nee, het is een vrij generiek parfum dat perfect past in de huidige trend van zeemzoete geuren, maar dan ook inwisselbaar is met deze concurrenten. Om echt uniek te zijn en eruit te springen mist Scandal Pour Hommes absoluut een eigen karakter.
