A hand truck is an indispensable tool for manually moving heavy loads. By tilting the hand truck, the center of gravity of the load can be shifted right above the wheel axle, after which heavy loads can be moved with little muscle power. After this, on a flat floor it is only “the art” to keep the tilt angle the same while driving with the hand truck. This is possible on a flat floor, but not on stairs! If one tries to walk up a staircase with a hand truck, the tilt angle will have to be adapted to the angle of inclination of the staircase. This stair hand truck has an extra axle that is located higher on the hand truck. This axle has five smaller wheels in a pentagon configuration. The small wheels fit on the step of a staircase and the tilt of the pentagon with the five wheels “rolls” from step to step. This way the hand truck remains tiltable and you can still shift the center of gravity while ascending or descending the stairs. This allows you to keep your balance and makes it possible to safely climb stairs with a hand truck! In addition to the two rotating pentagons with small wheels, this hand truck also still has two "normal" pneumatic tires. This makes this hand truck suitable for both flat floors and for climbing stairs. The pneumatic tires can even carry loads of up to 300 kilos. This hand truck also remains stable “tilted back” on the two pneumatic tires and four of the ten stair wheels. This makes this hand truck a versatile aid when moving heavy loads.
