The robust infrared patio heater can withstand a rain shower because the high-quality aluminum housing is protected against spray water according to protection class IP25. For this reason, the IRS 2050 is also suitable for use in uncovered outdoor areas.

Oscillating: even distribution of heat

Using the remote control, 9 heat settings can be set (200 W – 2,000 W) for directly noticeable heat on the skin or other surfaces, without preheating. If desired, the 45° oscillation can be switched on to spread the heat to several people. The IRS 2050 E is designed in such a way that the infrared rays are amplified by an extremely efficient reflector over the entire height of the infrared carbon tube. When sitting normally, the heat of the heater can be felt from head to toe, which means that it offers more in terms of thermal comfort than a simple convector heater.

Direct heat based on the principle of the sun

The short-wave radiant heat is generated using a high-quality infrared carbon tube. With an average lifespan of up to 5,500 hours, the IRS 2050 E offers surprisingly durable and low-maintenance heat. For safe use – also commercially – the robust device has an integrated tilt protection and a secured main switch.

The infrared carbon tube of the IRS 2050 E generates heat according to the principle of solar radiation. And this is also particularly energy-efficient, because a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. It is not the air in the environment that is heated, but the objects and people in the immediate vicinity of the infrared radiator retain the heat and release it as secondary radiation to the environment. The heat is distributed without disturbing noises and without a fan and therefore without dust swirling, so that people with asthma or allergies will not experience any discomfort.
