Trotec infrared heater IR 2001 is the space-saving heating solution for outdoors. Easy to use and lightweight

The compact dimensions of the Trotec IR 2001 reveal that this infrared radiator is a real lightweight. The organically shaped IR 2001 is light and impresses with its attractive design and particularly easy operation. The 46 cm wide radiator heats areas of up to 14 m² with targeted direct heat and creates a comfortable feeling at the touch of a button without disturbing the atmosphere with red light. In contrast to conventional halogen heating tubes, the high-quality, non-glare infrared tube (approx. 6,000 hours) emits 80 percent less red light, thus pleasant infrared heat.

2-in-1: Wall and ceiling heater

The enormous versatility of the infrared heater IR 2001 becomes apparent when it is mounted. As a wall and ceiling heater, the IR 2001 provides seated persons, standing tables and outdoor lounges with virtually odourless heat without preheating time. For the installation of the halogen infrared heater, which is equipped with a 1.90 cm long power cable, a 45° rotatable bracket including screws and wing nuts is included.

Weatherproof

Rain showers or clouds of dust cannot harm this robust heat radiator, because the high-quality aluminium housing is protected against water jets and dust ingress with protection class IP65. This means that the IR 2001 is also predestined for use in uncovered outdoor areas. But especially for professional use in the catering industry, the weatherproof housing is a real asset.

Infrared heat is just as pleasant as the sun

The IR 2001 infrared radiator heats its immediate surroundings according to the natural principle of the sun. In contrast to devices with heating wires, the infrared rays of the IR 2001 do not heat the surrounding air, but only the surfaces and people they hit. The illuminated objects (such as furniture, walls and ceilings) absorb and store the heat, and then gradually release it again. The objects thus serve as additional energy and heat storage - even when the device is switched off, which takes the efficiency of the IR 2001 infrared radiator to an even higher level. The heat radiation is comparable to the feeling of sunlight on the skin.

Every person feels temperatures in their own way. Our individual perception of heat is influenced, for example, by the distance to the heat source. The smaller the distance to the radiant heater, the smaller the radiated surface - the greater the distance to the radiant heater, the larger the radiated surface. The infrared heater IR 2001 with 2,000 watts is recommended for outdoor areas of approx. 8 m² to 14 m². Make sure that the room to be heated is sheltered from the wind, otherwise the heating effect can be neutralised by the air flow.

As beautiful as nature, without disturbing emissions

Especially people with allergies and sensitive airways will feel the benefits of infrared heating and will not want to do without it. In contrast to electric heaters, the clean and condensation-free heat is generated without swirling dust and almost without disturbing noises or unpleasant odours.

Conventional infrared heating without glare-free technology often emits an intense orange-red light together with the heat radiation, which many people experience as warm and comfortable. However, in order not to illuminate the environment too brightly or even disturb it, the IR 2001 from Trotec is equipped with a short-wave infrared tube with light-reducing glare-free technology.
