  • Description

  • Technical data of the Tormek SJ - 200 Japanese Water Stone.

  • The Japanese Watersteen has a grain of 4000.
  • The stone delivers a wafer-thin finish with virtually no grinding marks.
  • The stone has been developed for finishing a fine surface and therefore has a limited capacity for removing steel and cannot be used for forming tools *.
  • The stone excels when sharpening cutting tools, scissors, planers and wood chisels, where minimal surface sharpening and a perfect surface finish are required.
  • Because the surface of the stone is very fine, finishing with the leather wet disc is not recommended.
  • The metal sharpening should be removed from the stone every minute with the fine side of the gradation stone SP-650, do not use the rough side of the gradation stone.
