HBM English Wheel Model 3

The HBM English Wheel Model 3 gives you the opportunity to give a flat plate a third dimension. Also known as an "English Wheel", this tool is a roller that thins a sheet along a path you define. The material is clamped between the main flat wheel (top) and the round roller wheel (bottom). Due to the clamping force and rolling movement, the plate gradually becomes thinner and wider at the point of contact with the wheels. This will cause the plate to gradually bulge as you continue to roll the plate back and forth between the wheels.

With the HBM English Wheel Model 3 you can very accurately make complex bulges in sheet material, such as an old-fashioned wheel cap of a car or a (half) petrol tank of a motorcycle. This makes the English Wheel a must-have tool for the bodybuilder and serious sheet metal worker.
