This HBM 48 Watt Insect Killer - Fly Killer - Mosquito Lamp lures mosquitoes and other insects through its blue UV light and then electrocutes them by means of the voltage grid. The lamp can be used freestanding or mounted on a ceiling with the supplied chain. The lamp works best when there is as little other light as possible. The lamp may only be used in enclosed spaces.
UV devices may not be used outdoors, as non-selective insect traps (devices with UV light as a lure) catch not only harmful, but also useful insects there.
