HBM 12-Piece Tiltable Crow's Foot Open-End Wrench Set with 3/8" Mount This set of crow's feet wrenches is intended for tightening nuts in hard-to-reach places that are further away from the end of a threaded rod or bolt. A crow's foot wrench is in fact a ring wrench with a slot large enough to pass through the appropriate thread size. Thus, the crow's-foot wrench can be used in places that cannot be reached with a ring wrench, while the advantages of a ring wrench remain. In contrast to a normal open-end wrench, you can easily “repack” the nut with a crow's-foot wrench for making the next stroke. This is especially useful if the nut is difficult to reach. These are also special crow's feet keys, because these keys are tiltable and have a â…œ” recording. This allows them to be driven with a ratchet or with a ratchet extension. This driving can be carried out parallel to the axis of the bolt as well as transversely thereto. This is due to the fact that these wrenches have a tilting 3/8” drive shaft. The crow's feet wrenches are made of durable chrome molybdenum; good for years of use. The set contains all common sizes from 8 to 19 mm and comes in a sturdy blow-molded PP case.
