A bicycle lift is a very handy suspension system for every bicycle, which can be used for three purposes:
Storing a bike without taking up floor space
Hanging a bicycle in order to be able to carry out repairs on the bicycle in an ergonomic way.
Suspending the bicycle to spare the tires when the bicycle is not used for a long time.
With this bicycle lift you can lift any bicycle* from the ceiling of your garage, shed or bicycle shed. The force you need for this is the same as for lifting ¼ of the weight of the bicycle, because two pulleys are used with this bicycle lifting device.
The supplied Nylon cord runs smoothly through the pulleys, but if you release the tension of the cord, the cord is automatically blocked, so that the bicycle hangs safely. With a small tug on the cord, the blockage is lifted again and you can slowly lower the bike back down.
With the supplied cord holder, the Nylon cord is attached to the wall, so that the cord is neatly rolled up, but also so that the bicycle still hangs in case the blockage should not work (extra safety).
The double lifting hooks with pulley are adjustable, so that a flexible fit with the handlebar, saddle or luggage carrier can always be achieved.
*The bicycle lift is available in two versions:
The HBM 10831 for bicycles up to a weight of 20 kilos
The HBM 10828 for bicycles up to a weight of 57 kilos
